Hugh Griffith Roberts established “Hugh’s Views” on Flickr in 2007 and has amassed over 7,500 pictures to date of Barmouth and the surrounding area showing the history of the town.
These range from present day pictures of local characters and community spirit, to old black and white pictures going back many years, showing a wide variety of interesting images from the past.
There are also old post cards, tickets stubs from things such as coach trips and events, as well as old informational documents that show what was going on years ago.
This is truly the best way to find out more about the history of Barmouth, and with enthusiastic and dedicated Hugh adding more photos regularly, you really are in for a treat, after all, he has had over 16 million views to date too!!!
